Native Tools Overview

Native Tools are powerful AI tools natively embedded within the Pupau Platform with deep integration into the user interface.

Tools Parameters

Native Tools give you an extra layer of personalization with the tool parameters setting. Each tool comes with its own settings already configured. Most configurations are intended to be managed by the agent itself, but in the configuration settings you can decide to set a static value for a specific setting.

For example, the Web Search native tool has a parameter "results" that represents the number of results we want from a web search.

In Pupau we have the ability to delegate the decision to the agent itself by setting the field as dynamic. In this case the agent will decide, based on the current need, how many web search results to get from the tool in each invocation.

We can also decide to assign a specific and static value to a native tool setting, giving us the ability to apply a fixed configuration. In this example we are setting the number of results to a fixed value. This option will not be shown to the agent at all and is managed directly at platform level.
