Creating a New Assistant

Overview​

This guide walks you through the process of creating and configuring a new AI assistant in the platform. To create a new assistant, click on the + button in the top-right corner of the screen.

General Settings​

Basic Configuration​

  1. Toggle switch to activate or deactivate the assistant

  2. Enter a name that will be displayed to users

  3. Brief description of the assistant's purpose and capabilities

  4. Upload a profile picture for the assistant (optional)

AI Settings​

Model Selection​

  1. AI Model - LLM

    • Choose the AI model of your assistant among over 50 AI models.

  2. Model Details

    • Vendor information (e.g., OpenAI)
    • Description of the model
    • Cost: Credits per message (e.g., 3 credits per message, including 2k data tokens)
    • Capabilities:
      • Text
      • Attachments
      • Video
      • Image
      • Audio

Communication Settings​

  1. Welcome Message

    • Customize the initial welcome message
    • Default: "Hello, I am your assistant. I can help you with any questions you have about our products."

  2. System Prompt

    • Configure the assistant's behavior and knowledge
    • Available in both plain text and formatted versions
    • Rich text editor with formatting options
    • Version control

  3. Failure Message

    • Custom message displayed when errors occur
    • Default: "Sorry, I do not know how to help with that."

Capabilities​

Web Integration​

  1. URL Navigation

    • Enable/disable URL content access
    • Format: https://page.xx in prompts
    • Allows context gathering from web pages

  2. Web Search

    • Toggle for web search capabilities
    • Enables autonomous web research
    • Configurable search results (1-10, default: 5)

Response Configuration​

  1. Response Mode

    • Open: Uses knowledge base with external information
    • Closed: Strict knowledge base adherence
    • Hybrid: Combination of both approaches

  2. Response Length

    • Options:
      • Automatic
      • Very Synthetic
      • Synthetic
      • Normal (default)
      • Long
      • Verbose

Additional Features​

  1. Attachments

    • Enable/disable file sharing capabilities
    • Configure attachment handling in conversations

  2. Multi-Assistant Tagging

    • Enable tagging multiple assistants in conversations
    • Facilitates collaboration between different AI models

Saving Changes​

  • Click the 'Save' button in the top-right corner
  • Changes take effect immediately after saving
